I am a Game Designer who is always looking to improve and expand upon their knowledge and skillset. For years I had an interest in learning how games were made and the reasons behind certain design decisions. It is one of the reasons I decided to learn more about game development. I aspire to work as part of a team that creates fun and unique experiences for players.

I graduated from the State University of New York (SUNY) in Canton with a B.S. in Game Design and Development. The program there provided me with opportunities to learn game programming and design, as well as some basic knowledge of 3D modeling and animation. But most importantly I was granted opportunities to work as a part of a larger team collaborating to fulfill a greater goal.

Some aspects I am the most interested in are: game systems design, combat, and encounter design. I enjoy creating game systems and mechanics that are engaging to players and keep them coming back to the game. 

Some of my favorite games include Destiny 2, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, God of War (2018), and Monster Hunter World. In one way or another these games have captivated me and gave me experiences that I still think about to this day. The types of experiences that inspire me as a game designer, and experiences that I one day wish to have a hand in creating.
